Record and create MP3 from your home

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

You won’t get any substitution for a good recording being done in a professional recording studio. With the rise in popularity of digital PC recording and the low cost of recording software, many people are thinking again for the idea of home recording. The ease of MP3 distribution and the sites that offer free web hosting and the ability to upload and download free music, the difficulty of promoting and distributing your MP3 band has become very easy.

You need to think that what is needed to begin such recording at home, how these recordings can be turned into MP3’s and what to do with these MP3 ‘s once they are created. Home recording on a PC requires some necessary things such as a computer, recording software and a digital soundcard. If you are recording multiple tracks from multiple sources at the same time you might want to invest in a mixer as well. This will allow you input more than one instrument or microphone to your computer at the same time. You need to install your recording software and sound card drivers. Plug your mixer into your sound card, plug your instruments into your mixer and there you are ready for recording. The recording process may be a little different depending upon what software you are using. Most decent software comes with a good instruction manual that you can consult if you have any problems. After recording, you can also mix all tracks down to stereo audio .wav file.

Now that the recording is completed and you have the .wav file in hand you can convert it into MP3 file. IF you burn your tracks to CD, you won’t need to convert it to a MP3 file but for distributing music downloads on the web, the most universally accepted method will be an Mp3 file. You can take your .wav file and export it as an MP3 with the help of any audio recording program. Most of the recording software provides this option but you should keep in mind that you might need to mess with the output settings to get the best quality MP3 program. Another option is to use a stand alone .wav to MP3 converter.

Once you have your MP3 files, you can set up your own website and offer free music downloads. You can visit many websites that offer free web hosting for musicians so that the musicians will have a place to offer downloadable music Mp3, music videos and music lyrics.

The Perfect Home Recording Studio to Create

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

For aspiring recording artists, finding a recording company to sign with can be a daunting task.  If you and your band are encountering problems in this area, it can seem that your band will never get a lucky break.  Fortunately, there is another solution to the problem… The creation of your own home recording studio.

Home recording studios can range from the very simple to the very elaborate but they all must meet a two basic guidelines.

You have to eliminate sources of background noise. You need recording equipment.

Soundproofing your home recording studio eliminates background noises that could ruin your recordings.  Such ambient noises might be children playing in the next room or street noise.  Since ambient noise is a common factor in every environment, eliminating it from your recordings is crucial.  If you have a dedicated room in your home for your recording studio, then add extra insulation to the walls or foam rubber “egg crates” like the big recording studios have.  If you can’t dedicate a room, soundproofing can be as simple as putting bed mattresses against the walls.  This technique was used by pirate radio dj, Dave Rabbit, to block out the sounds of the Vietnam War as he broadcast his show, Radio First Termer, from the back room of a local brothel.

The second neccessity of a recording studio is the recording equipment.  You should always pick the best recording equipment your budget will allow. Optional equipment can be added in later but to start off, you will need some basic recording equipment.

A good quality microphone is a must have item so don’t skimp on this important part of your recording studio equipment.  There are three basic types of microphones used for recording: Condenser, Dynamic and Electret.  Condenser microphones are preferred for the home recording studio due to their excellent frequency response but the cost is often prohibitive.  The next step down, and it is a very small step, is the rear electret microphone.  The electret microphone produce nearly the same recording quality at a much lower price tag. Both the electret and the condenser microphone require a phantom power source, which is delivered through the microphone hook up or via battery.  The dynamic microphone can also be used for home recording studios on a budget but it should be noted that the recording quality will suffer greatly. Amplifiers are neccessary for the function of microphones.  These devices convert the electrical signals produced by the microphone into the audible sounds that we hear.  For the home recording studio, you may choose an external amplifier, like the one you plug your guitar into, or an amplifier that is built into your recording system. The recording system has changed a lot over the years.  When the music industry was in its infancy, reel to reel tape recording systems were common equipment.  While they still have their followers, this system is is becoming less popular in favor of digital recording methods.  Fortunately, you may already have a digital recording system in your home; your home computer.  If your computer has a minimum 1 Gigabyte of memory, or ram, and a decent processor, preferably Dual Core, a sound input jack and enough hard drive space to accomodate your file sizes, you can record studio quality audio recordings using simple software applications.  As an added bonus to this method, many freeware applications exist to help in both the recording and editing process so you can produce the sound you want, even on a very low budget.  With the addition of a CD burner, you can record, edit and create your CD from the same system.

Why not create your resume by screen recorder?

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

This is a new inspiration to discover yourself with digital screen recording technology, making yourself closely keep in touch with people all over the world.

It is how wonder begins

A friend of mine has been searching for his next new job for 2 months but still drew a blank. Yesterday when he was making an online video chat with me to complain about the injustice distracted him; I noticed that he was not as poor as he looked in front of webcam. An idea jumped into my mind so I told him: “You look pretty smart and energetic through camera, why not trying introducing yourself through it?”

It seemed that my words stoke him to grow up some tips. He continued my topic with more interesting thoughts: “I found there were few clicks on my resume, so is there any idea to get it over?”

After 10 seconds in silence, our mind swung as one to a new concept: personal  screen recording resume.

Can screen recording resume really qualify?

Well, at first do not mention the possibility this new born phrase works. Since the population of online streaming media and development of screen recording technology, people have blurted out many novelties to share new ideas and represent themselves. In that way, why not attempting some new stuff when hunting a job?

I’m not joking, ruminating over this topic there does are many pros compared with traditional format of resume:

The interviewers sifting through resume often do a rapid scan over thousands of copies with same format. The new form containing screen recording video will add extra points to resume and gain more attention to interviewers. While finding proper resume, the interviewers will browse the information in some detail, but might still omit important some news. On the contrary, the  screen recording resume offers all of your information to them in a passive way which is more like to be obsessive reception imperceptibly. The newly-styled resume presents a face-to-face communication rather than a single piece of cold paper. You have plenty ways of representations in visual self introduction to earn enough points to conquer the interviewers, making yourself more actual and easy-going.

How can screen recorder realize that?

You might aroused much in interest, however, it’s still a little bit iffy and out of regular concept since people never take venture of attempting screen recording video as their resumes (so do my friend and me at first). In that way let’s do example to declare the fresh experience you can get.

In our ideation, this video should be made up by 3 parts: basic intro, individual representation and interactive communication, opening up to viewers a fresh-new and comprehensive cognition of demonstrator step by step, leaving a deep and perfect impression to your future leaders.

A screen recording with full voice is highly recommended since most of resumes contain texts and texts. On the other hand, audio resume can easily motivate readers’ motions and hold their attentions, altering the traditional turn of expression in which interviewers have to obtain info by reading applications themselves.

Basic introduction

In basic introduction, you can take advantage of all the space available to clearly present your contact information as well as education and notable achievements to keep interviewers oriented. With screen recorder software you can add some square boxes as a checkmark for the certain part of your resume, or set motion tracks of mouse as navigation between paragraphs. A recent photo of yourself will be highlight of this part, making your resume vivid and true to life.

Individual representation

As we all know, the main body of resume is branch point to evaluate the level of individuals, so the representation part will be the most important section which should be embellished and decorated in priority with full use of screen recorder software. For example, you can use zoom function to emphasize on one valuable working experience in professional experience section. To capture reviewers’ attention, you can add panning action to move the screen from one paragraph to another, guiding your reader to double check what kind of education or training you received and how they enhance your ability during your work.

Interactive communication

Have you ever thinking of turning your resume from a dull paper to viewtiful screencast? It’s the show time customizing your screen recording resume with more interactive elements and features. In screen recorders there’s many functions allow you to insert image, create animation and set various actions for every mouse click.

Supposing that a picture of championship of national mechanical design tournament jumps into the view, or an animated sparking banner displays the three-year training in Business Administration of Harvard. While the reviewers are enjoying your creative video recording resume, a big button appears to remind him to login your blog to grasp more news of yours. Who else can dare to be the ideal applicant except you? All achievements above are just with the help of outstanding screen recording software to gain.

The story of screen recording doesn’t end up

One week later, I receive a call from my friend, the man nearly got crazy about seeking a job. He tells me that he obtains offer from the company he’s been looking forward to it. We talk a lot about our fantastic but also funny idea of making resume simply by screen recorder on computer. No one will believe such kind of crazy thing unless he gives a bold attempt, and then finds out how great this originality is.

The author chooses one screen recording software called DemoCreator to record the sample below. Hope you enjoy it and any suggestion is welcome.

3 Techniques to Create Your Own Hot-selling Products

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Have you always thought you needed to spend weeks or even months to create your own product?

Well, the good news is you can create a product much more quickly and easily. Maybe not as fast as reading this article, but you can sure do it in less than a week… or even a couple of days!

So you’ll have more time to promote and market your product which means more sales. After all, that’s where the money is.

Just imagine how many profitable products you can create and how much additional profits you can make when you know how to create your own products so fast!

So here are 3 techniques to create your own hot-selling products FAST…

1. Interview an Expert

You sure know or easily can find some experts in your field that your target market knows and respects. They are usually people who have written books or articles about your topic.

These people know the answers too many questions your prospects have in mind and can show them how to solve their problems. For more results please login on to www.cprofiting-info-products.com. That’s why interviewing an expert is a powerful technique to create products which are both highly profitable and easy to create. You can interview the experts by email or using phone, turn it into an e-book easily and then sell it for big profits.

If you interview them using via phone, you can also record your phone conversation and turn it into an audio course. Since audio products offer a higher perceived value, you can sell it at a higher price. Just make sure you ask for their permission to record your conversation.

You can also get someone to write the transcription so you can sell it as an e-book separately, or just as a bonus with your audio course.

A good example of someone who has used this technique successfully is Neil Shearing. As you may know, he’s a well-known Internet marketing expert.

He has created an e-book called “Internet Success Diamonds” which is consisted of interviews with top, well-known Internet marketing gurus where they reveal their secrets to success. I happened to buy his book and found it really helpful.

2. Compile Templates and Samples

who says you have to write all your e-books word by word yourself?

After all, people buy an e-book because it shows them how to solve their problem and get what they want. So as long as your e-book is helpful to your target market, all the rest doesn’t matters.

By compiling templates, samples, articles, and other helpful information into an e-book, not only you’ll provide your target market with valuable information they want but you’ll also create your product much more easily and quickly.

3. And Best of All…

There’s another powerful technique that helps you create high quality, hot-selling products in less a couple of weeks without writing a single word yourself. You can also go to www.create-video-product.com. It’s the secret many top Internet marketing experts use but has never admitted it to you.

How to Create a Podcast From Audio Tape

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

How To Create Podcast Media From Audio TapeThe digital revolution has rendered many of to a state of utter confusion when it comes to dealing with older/analog audio technologies. A good number of us are still utilizing the familiar old tape deck to record our audio, but then become absolutely befuddled when it comes time to transfer that audio into the digital environment. I always get this picture in my head of my clients standing there with RCA audio cables – staring blankly at their computer – wondering how to get the audio from the source to the destination. This tutorial is meant to help out those confused masses. I will preface the tutorial by saying that this is by no means the ideal way to create podcast media. However, people should stick to what they’re comfortable with. If that’s audio tape – then by all means – go for it! Maybe someday you’ll invest in a good MP3 recording device – but until then – it’s no biggie. So – let’s get started.Equipment/Hardware Needed

Standard Audio Cassette Player. I highly recommend using a good quality walkman – for it has the ideal output port on it built in. I do not recommend using your home stereo cassette deck for this procedure – because your deck most likely has either RCA outs (absolutely no good) and a 1/4″ plug (if you’re lucky.)
A 1/8″ to 1/8″ Mini Plug connector. You know the little plug connector that’s at the end of your headphones? This cable has two of those – one on each end. You can purchase these cables at pretty much any electronics store. (If you must use your home stereo deck – and if it comes with a 1/4″ plug jack – you can probably find a 1/4″ to 1/8″ adapter along with the cord.)
Good sound card for your computer with an “line in” jack (looks just like the audio out jack . If you’ve purchased your computer within the last few years – you most likely already have an audio card sufficient for this process.) Familiarize yourself with the location of the card, and find the “line in” jack.Software Needed

Audio Recording Software with noise-reduction filters. I recommend Audacity – as it’s free and pretty simple to use.Once you have all of the equipment, it’s time to get started.Transferring the audio from Tape to ComputerStep 1:Connect the tape deck to the computer by plugging one end of the connector cable into the headphones jack of the walkman, and the other end of the connector cable into the “line in” jack of your computer’s sound card.Step 2:Install your audio processing software (Audacity.)Step 3:Launch Audacity, and look for the input pulldown menu. It’s on the top right of the screen. Click the tab and select “Line In”.Step 4:Adjust the volume of your walkman to be medium/low. Rewind the tape and press Play.Step 5:Press “Record” in Audacity’s interface and check the levels of the audio being brought in. If the levels are too high (hot) your audio will be distorted. You will know if the audio is “hot” by if the levels trip too far to the right. If so, either adjust the volume from the walkman, or the audio input levels in the software to compensate.Step 6:After finding the perfect recording level, you’re ready. Rewind the tape again. Press “record” in audacity, and press “play” on your walkman.Step 7:Review your audio. If you’re happy with it, save it, and begin to tweak it with the noise reduction software.Step 8:Save your audio file as .mp3 format. You’re done! Now your audio is ready to be included/posted to your podcast. If you need a good podcast host I recommend AvMyPodcast.com. They have unmetered bandwidth, great tech support, and a lot of tutorials to teach you how to make a podcast.Good luck!

Create Your Product to Sale on the Internet

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

In 2006, there are a total of more than $170 billion sales transaction on the Internet alone. If you can capture just a measly 0.01 of the market, you will make a profit of $1,700,000,000 dollars us think about it… More and more people are getting online every year and this mean that the $170 billion sales transaction will only increase every year. There is a huge market out there on the Internet, but the BIG question is “Are you in a position to tap on this massive, growing market to make money for yourself?” Understand this. You need to have a product to sell on the Internet. Yes, you may be able to sell other people product and earn a commission as a result. However, by selling other people product, you will not be able to brand yourself. Branding oneself is very crucial in Internet marketing, especially if you are selling information product. For more details go to www.product-creation-secrets.com. Why should people buy the information from you? They must believe that you are an expert that can help them to solve their problem, be it financial, health, lack of skill ( better golf stroke, for example ) etcher, I am giving you an idea on how you can create your very own product to sell on the internet, easily. 1 Public Domain Anything articles that are publish before 1923 is considered to be public domain stuff. What do this mean? This means that you can use market the content of the public domain. Some of the besting selling book can be found in the public domain. A good example is the “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. You can annotated the content or add new content in conjunction with what’s available ( Think And Grow Rick For Internet Marketers, for example ) Use your imagination to make the content more compelling for the people out there in the Internet to buy from you. (Maybe you can imitate the marketing strategy of Harry potter) 2 Private Label Rights There are a lot of private label rights articles out there where you can purchase. Upon purchase, you have the right to market the article and put your name in it. It is as good as you write the article yourself. You have full rights to change the content of the article or add on stuff to it. This is the laziest man way in creating product to sell on the Internet. 3 Software Yes, you can even create software. You may not know how to write software or understand pup, chi code to save your life, but you can hire others to do it. In India or Russia, there are thousand of freelance programmers that can help you create your software at an affordable fee. All you need is to give them the idea of what you want the software to do. It’s that simple. 4 Audio If you have a mouth and can talk with it, you can create an audio product. You can read from the public domain or the private label right that you have created and make it available in audio form. Alternatively, you can interview an expert and capture the content in audio format. There are many ways to create audio product. The sky is your limit. 5 Video You can demonstrate the content of the public domain and private label rights content and record it from a digital camera. This way, you will have a video product to sell. What is suggested that you can use to create an audio product is also applicable here. You can interview an expert in front of a digital camera and there you go, you have a product. 6 Opportunity you can sell them the opportunity to make money from your product. Sell them the rights to sell your public domain or private label rights product. This way, you do not need to create additional product and the perceived value is high (every one want to buy an opportunity to make money, that’s why selling lottery is the best business) Product sells (if marketing correctly), but opportunity sells even better. You can also go to www.info-product-profit-revealed.com. These are information product. If you are not in the known, information is the best product to sell on the Internet. It has zero or low inventory cost (all you need is to spent few dollars on some CDs or buy a web hosting storage and you are good to go). And it requires little or no cost to create. As a result, it has high net profit. Understand that net profit is calculated as: Sales turnover – Cost of Products all the product creation examples that I show you here require low product creation cost. This way, you pocket most of the sales that you make. Isn’t this every businessman dream? Most importantly, isn’t that your dream?

Easily Create Your Own Home Music Studio

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

A huge studio full of equipment isn’t what you need anymore, in fact, you could do most of the production and post-production elements of a song with just a well-equipped computer! What’s important is finding a piece of equipment to separately record each instrument on it’s own track, and there are many such devices priced pretty cheap, and most of them are now specialized to interface with your computer and record directly in!

Let’s say you are working with a band, aside from that recording equipment, you also need to have proper microphone equipment for each individual piece, and you also should invest in a vocal booth to isolate the vocals for a clean mix at the end. This is especially important with the drums as well, unless you plan on fixing them post-production.

These days, you can find pop-guards, and even movable vocal booth walling that can make this easier than you realize. Sometimes artists only do the vocals, and have all the instrumentation done elsewhere, by a band in a studio or a producer across the world! Home recording makes each take less stressful, as you don’t have to worry about hourly rates when recording your masterpieces. Now you may be curious as to which software to use when doing home recording. Well, it depends on what you want to do really.

Now you see, I’m going to first approach it like you’re the average instrument player in a group. People in that boat aren’t going to be too concerned with post-production, and simply want to record their jam sessions, and perhaps turn the vocals up for their singer. If that’s all you’re trying to do, your basic set-up with a computer and a recording interface should do it, as it’ll either be a computer add-on or an external addition, either way it’s job is to record what you’re inputting.

Those devices always come with software like Nuendo or ProTools that’ll be just fine for basic recording. Now if you’re concerned with mastering and a polished sound, that’s where post-production is absolutely key. Some things aren’t on time as perfect as they should be, post-production can pull sounds and fix any discrepancy left by the live recording.

Drums are typically reworked in post-production to give a louder, crisper feel. Any kind of samples that come to mind can be added on, and rhythmically if the producer has the skill, etc. For that kind of work I suggest using Renoise and Acid. Acid is also particularly useful in doing remixes if you have to know-how to cut your sample pieces into loops.

In general, every song that you are putting out there also needs to be mastered. What that does *basically* is make your song sound similar to other songs on the radio (volume-wise mostly). Now you can pay for expensive mastering services, but the rule of thumb on the issue is to just use a program like Mp3gain and make it too loud. Strangely enough, too loud is the same volume all popular songs you enjoy will register at, try it for yourself!

Also when you have your finished mp3, use Wavelab or Goldwave to cut it down, as you don’t want to have an excessive amount of silence before or after the song.

How To Create A Home Recording Studio

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

Thanks to technological innovations, including professional recording software more artists are creating home recording studios, and even laptop studios. This article will provide tips and ideas to help you create the perfect home based studio for you and your music, based on your budget and needs.

Before you begin, consider whether you plan to record all of the songs and or musicians and instruments associated with a project all at once, or individually. You should also factor your familiarity with computers and recording software in general into the equation.

If you arent as familiar with recording software tools as you would like to be, the good news is that most music recording software offers simplified versions of their full software programs, that can be upgraded to full versions later, once youve mastered the basics. These programs provide a good introduction to the fundamentals of recording software.

If you are going to build a studio, keep in mind that software studios are much more space saving than hardware studios, but if space is not an issue, then a traditional hardware studio may be your best option.

A mobile laptop studio is always a good option for the truly pressed for space, since this offers you the greatest flexibility, and most laptops are more than capable of running recording and mixing software and programs. This means that your recording studio can go with you, and you will never leave home without it.

You can also create a combination hardware and software studio, but in any case, the most basic studio should include a computer with a sound card, a microphone and a mixer, a stereo or powered speakers, and an optional midi keyboard.

Buy the best equipment that you can afford now, and keep in mind that you can always upgrade later, but that in the long run, purchasing the cheapest equipment may actually end up costing you more, since more upgrades will be required.

Creating your own recording studio will save you time and money, since it will eliminate the need to rent studio time, and, especially in the case of a mobile laptop studio, will give you greater freedom and flexibility when it comes to your recording projects.

Whether you have unlimited space and a large budget, or very limited space and an equally limited budget, thanks to recording software programs and advances in recording and mixing technology it is possible to have your own home, or mobile recording studio.
