No Freecorder4 is strictly a stream recorder – if you want to record your voice you can download the older freecorder 3. Just go to the applian website/support/product technical support/freecorder and look on the right hand side of the page – you will see the earlier email addresses.

well i’m sure i downloaded the ask tool bar and it recorded just fine but it gave me a trojan, strange.. i guess i downloaded a wrong one….

You would need a microphone – either one built into your PC or one you plug in.

try the new freecorder 4 toolbar – same funcationality as the ask toolbar but doesn’t have the issue of thinking you already have an ask toolbar when you don’t. It’s free and records audio/video and converts too.
